Networking for Professionals

Pittsburg Area Young Professionals is designed to engage an emerging group of leaders committed to personal growth and career development while serving Pittsburg and the surrounding area.

PAYP is open to employees, business owners, entrepreneurs and any others between the ages of 18-55, who want to expand their professional growth, meet new people, and enhance the community through their volunteer efforts.

"My most memorable moment was attending and becoming a charter member of PAYP when it first started with a gathering at Chatter's. Nearly 100 people were there, quite the excitement to launch the program. I have always vested myself in leadership development, whether it is the Crawford County Youth Leadership Program that I helped create, or mentoring young professionals to take on the many roles needed to keep a community vibrant. My favorite part of PAYP is seeing younger citizens step up and make a lasting impact on the community. I love their energy and commitment to doing the right thing."
